For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, “Privacy Policy” shall mean any personal data as defined by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (i.e. any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person), as well as any applicable national implementing or additional legislation (collectively the “Privacy Law”).
This Privacy Policy explains how Codic International SA, entered in the Brussels Register of Legal Persons under number 0448.424.367, (the “Company”) collects, processes, uses and protects certain Personal Data about you when you browse this website (the “Service”).

Categories of Personal Data processed
In principle, the Service does not collect or process Personal Data. However, should this be the case, you acknowledge that the Company, as part of the Service, may process the following Personal Data about you that you provide when registering for the Service: language, device identifiers, access codes, passwords, IP addresses, e-mail addresses, communications sent in connection with the use of the Service, interactions with customer service and/or the helpdesk, request communications sent by you and corresponding computer logs (with date and time); in some countries, we collect a national identification number, in particular for tax compliance purposes.

Purposes of the processing of Personal Data
These Personal Data are only processed to answer any questions you may have.

Legal basis
The Company only processes Personal Data on the basis of your expression of interest in our building, cultural or other projects.

Newsletter and information on the Company’s projects
If you subscribe to our newsletter, the Company will use your Personal Data to send you information about its projects until you revoke your consent. The Company may send you communications by e-mail (i) if you have provided your e-mail address and (ii) if you have expressly consented, when providing your e-mail address, to its use for information purposes (e.g. by subscribing to the Company’s newsletters). Communications may be sent to you by e-mail or regular mail unless you later object.
In addition, these communications may be sent to you by e-mail if you are a customer of the Company, provided that (i) you have provided us with your e-mail address in connection with the sale of a product or service, (ii) these communications relate to products or services similar to those already purchased, and (iii) you have not objected, at the time your data were collected or subsequently, to such communications.
If you no longer wish your Personal Data to be processed for direct communication purposes, you have the right to withdraw your consent to this at any time, free of charge and without having to provide justification, by sending an e-mail to rgpd@codic.eu.
6. Security
The Company has put in place appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your Personal Data against accidental or unauthorised destruction, loss, alteration, deterioration, use, access, disclosure or other unlawful or unauthorised processing.
7. Transfer of your Personal Data to third parties
The Personal Data collected by the Company are not transferred to third parties, with the exception of external service providers and subcontractors (for data hosting and invoice management) of the Company, in relation to whom the Company has taken appropriate measures to protect your Personal Data, in accordance with the Privacy Law, and exclusively for the processing purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
In general, the Company will not transfer your Personal Data to third parties, except as (i) permitted by applicable law or (ii) referred to in this section or elsewhere in this Privacy Policy. Your Personal Data may also be disclosed in the event that the Company sells or transfers all or part of its business or assets to a third party.
8. Retention period of Personal Data
The Company will not retain your Personal Data, as may be collected and processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy, for a period exceeding the time necessary to fulfil the purposes described above.
If you unsubscribe from the Service, the Company will deactivate your account and delete any Personal Data collected within six (6) months of unsubscribing, except where the Company has a specific legitimate interest in retaining your Personal Data for a longer period of time (for example, to the extent that the data are required to comply with a legal obligation, such as an accounting, tax or contractual obligation).
9. Your rights
You have the right to access your Personal Data, as collected and processed by the Company, and to request correction of any inaccuracies or deletion (if any) in the event that they are not necessary. You also have the right to object, at any time, free of charge and without having to provide justification, to the future processing of your Personal Data for direct marketing purposes by (i) contacting the Company’s customer service department using the contact form available on our website, (ii) unsubscribing from all e-mail correspondence via the link provided for this purpose at the bottom of each e-mail received from the Company, or (iii) by sending a written and signed request to the Company at the e-mail address rgpd@codic.eu or at the following postal address: Codic International SA, for the attention of Hervé Bodin, Chaussée de La Hulpe, 120, 1000 Brussels, with a copy of your identity card or other identification document, as well as any document proving that you are the person concerned by the Personal Data.
In general, where applicable, you also have the right to withdraw your consent to any processing at any time. Such withdrawal of consent shall not jeopardise the lawfulness of the processing operation based on the consent given prior to such withdrawal. In some cases, you also have the right to the portability of your Personal Data. These rights can be exercised by following the procedure described above.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of the European Union in which your habitual residence, place of work or the place where the violation is alleged to have been committed is located, if you consider that the processing of personal data concerning you constitutes a violation of the Privacy Law.
11. Other websites
The Service may be offered on and/or use features (such as voice control) managed by third-party platforms or contain links to sites operated by third parties whose policies regarding the processing of personal data may differ from ours. These websites and platforms (web application) are governed by separate and independent privacy or data policies, privacy statements, notices and terms of use which we recommend that you read carefully.

13. Modification
The Company expressly reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy and you agree to regularly consult the Privacy Policy. If the Privacy Policy changes, a message will appear on the home page of the Service. By continuing to browse the Company’s website after such notification, you will be deemed to have taken note of said changes.
